Hello, I’m Jesse, the Chef behind Ethnicuisine. My culinary journey began in a family that cherished the tradition of big banquet – style dinners. From a young age I was captivated by the magic of the kitchen, spending countless hours alongside my grandmother as she prepared lavish family meals. Her passion for cooking and her ability to bring people together through food left a lasting impression on me.

My professional career began working in Fast Food like many other young Americans. After learning what a kitchen would feel like and the enviroment I would be in I got a job at a luxury resort, where I had the privledge of learning from some talented chefs. This experience honed my skills in creating exquiste dishesthat delighted guests from all walks of life.

After my stint at the resort, I found myself drawn to the vibrant and intimate atmosphere of a speakeasy gastropub that specialized in special event catering. There I learned to push the limits with food on a molecular gastronomy level. Here, I embraced the challenge of crafting unique and unforgettable dining experiences for private events, blending creativity with precision to exceed expectations.

After the events of Covid and driven by an inspiration working at the gastropub, I pursued a formal education in Culinary Arts. Attending culinary school allowed me to refine my skills and deepen my understanding of diverse cuisines from around the world. It was a transformative experience that fueled my desire to explore the endless possibilities of culinary fusion.

Throught my journey, the idea of showing my culinary adventures with a wider audience has always been at the forefront of my mind. Ethnicuisine is the realization of that dream – a platform where i can share my recipes, stories, and tips with you. This blog is a celebration of the wonderful diversity of food from around the world, inspired by my experiences and the people I’ve met along the way.

Looking ahead, I have plans to publish cookbooks and open my own catering business, where I can continue to explore and innovate in the culinary world. Until then I invite you to join me on the delicious adventure.
